Deep Six -- Forest Exercise

Older 2003 art. Fellow Deep Sixer Mel Miller and I did a few pages of sequential practice for the story. We'd come up with random scenarios/settings, without any dialogue scripted, and we each had a week to illustrate it however we wanted. We'd then compare the results, critique, and discuss. It was a lot of fun to see how differently we portrayed the exact same scene!Anyway, this was Round One in our practice pages. Telly and Anathema are out in a wooded area doing a training exercise. Anathema is in werewolf form and is charged with sneaking up on Telly and taking her down. Telly, however, hears her, and deflects the attack.
